So, let’s start off with the basics. How do you even apply for the swim team? You can contact Coach Ryan, Coach Lucky, or Coach Oscer. You could E-mail them or you can WeChat them. After you do that, they will set up a time to see what your level in swimming is. Swim America Swordfish, Swim America Sailfish, and Swim America Marlins are the beginner levels. The Transition group is for people who have a little bit more experience with swimming. The Senior/Intermediate Team is for people who already have a lot of experience with swimming, but still have room for improvement. The High school swim team is for high schoolers.

Next, I’m going to talk about swim meets. In my opinion, swim meets are the best part of being on the swim team. You get to race with your friends and against other schools! And the best part about it, you will be so proud of yourself if you get a personal best! Swim meets usually happen 2, 3, or 4 times every swimming season. Also, don’t worry, the coaches will tell you ahead of time every time there is a swim meet.

If you feel like you are interested in joining the swim team, you could contact coach Ryan, coach Lucky, or coach Oscer. Maybe I’ll see you at the next swim meet!
